I cant believe the quality of american single sliced cheese that ingles even puts on the shelf for about a dollar or .75 less than the leading brand. I am a cheese lover and I could not believe the cheese that laura lynn sells.

It was absolutely the most nasty cheese I have ever eaten. If you even try to make a grilled cheese sandwich the cheese does not even melt. The bread burns around it. What is this cheese made of.

When you open the single, it is so full of oil you cant even hold it. I reallly dont even think it would pass the FDA. At least sale it for a lot less money so people dont waste their time and money on this nasty *** you call cheese. You guys should be ashamed to sale products as poor as this with all the competition and economy the way it is.

I hope some does something about this.

I am a small business owner myself and if I were to try and get away with this type of stuff, I would be out of business in less than a week.

You probably bought the "imitation" american "flavored" singles I actually work at a ingles store in the dairy department so I know that we sell an "imitation" product and an american process cheese single. the real deal is as good as kraft or borden.

but the imitation is simply horrible. pony up and buy the real deal. It's 1.98 the imitation is .98 borden is 2.98 and kraft is usually 3.28. As i said though I'm basically positive this was your problem.

Thing is we actually have people that regularly buy the "imitation" as if it doesn't bother them. I don't even think it has milk in it.

Sorry this happened.

not sure where the "imitation" plays into it,neither"flavored" nor "imitation" is on the label I'm looking at,Corporate damage control not withstanding, this "processed product" is so beyond horrible.

I was going to give my 9 month old mixed veggies for the first time and was so excited. So, I bought the Laura Lynn brand, brought it home and picked out just a couple peices...few carrots, peas and one green bean.

I put it into one of her bowls and put it into the microwave and turned it on for 15 sec and towards the end of the 15 seconds the green bean started to spark like I had put metal in there...snap, crackle, pop...flash of light the works. I turned it off and took the bowl out immidiatly so not to ruin my microwave and the greenbean was smoking and had a burn spot in it. I was shocked!

And, also scared that I had almost gived that to my baby. I just don't know what to think about that...

Please all that use a Microwave oven, do your research on this subject and take that "thing" to the dump asap. Don't forget to cut that corded plug in flush to the metals edge.

It makes me ill that these are sold in the USA!

Research people. Start caring what you are doing to our already unhealthy food.
