This has happened to me. The different stores fail to accept the phone number for the savings card. The store personnel are rude then, especially managers.

Went to Ingles this morning, no cashiers so I used self checkout

One of the managers had to come over and help me, he was annoyed (I was there at 7:00am so no one was there) He had a disgusted attitude when I asked him to help me with produce on the self check: His answer: look it up and walked away. I had already looked it up and couldnt find the produce. He had to come over again, still disgusted at having to help me when NO one was in the store shopping, no cashiershorrible attitude. Isnt his job based on helping customers. Too busy standing there doing nothing with a bad attitude. Disgusted.

No, his job is based upon keeping the employees in line and other things you wouldn't know about had you not been a store manager. Now someone (you) wants him to act like a minimum wage stockboy while the rest of the place falls apart. You're being a touch unreasonable because you didn't get the answer you wanted.

Back in July 4th 2021 I had made a mistake when I had allowed the store manager and his management team get to me. A customer had asked me one time where is something she's looking for and I told her it was on that isle and she purposely assumed that I had gotten a attitude with her and she walked off and told the manager on me.

I tried to get her to come back but she refused. And the store manager had called me in the office and had made me feel very uncomfortable when he was threatening me to suspend me and he called like 3 of his management team over and they all started attacking me in front of the bookeepers and other co workers. I really want my job back. But ever since I had called and explained to Mr.

Malham about this.

Him and Ashley decided to come off on me by saying no we can't hire you back because of the way you left and since I had called him last December he still refused and he acted like he didn't care. Please contact me at 770-744-**** or my email address fw859905@***.com thank you.

That's ancient history. friend.

99% of places will not rehire a former employee who left under undesirable circumstances. Your chances go to 50-50 if you left the normal way, with notice and no malice, as a good worker.

You're probably one of the workers that people in these pages cry about. That's what you said happened.

Listen not to be rude or anything but just because people are entitled to do what's best for doesn't mean go around and criticize them. You have no idea about what happened in my situation so please do yourself a favor and don't speak your opinion and no offense but from what you just said to me you need to be careful with what you say to people because some people don't wanna hear that and on top of that people who feel like working at a job where they are not treated with respect deserve to have turnovers of employees.

Manager was loud and rude

One of your managers named Matt he works in your Albemarle NC store, I was in the store today march 4 2023 he spoke very loudly to me about my service dog he said the last time we were in the store my service dog went to the bathroom on the way out and someone almost slipped I have a service dog be I suffer from post traumatic stress disorder and by him speaking very loudly to me in front of other customers it sent me into a panic attack I called him when I returned home he said he speaks to everyone like I dont believe that is true I go into his often I apologize to him because I remember that day and I looked back to make sure my service dog did not crap as he put in the doorway otherwise I would of cleaned up I always carry a bag with me just in case but had came from the park and had already went to the bathroom. If this how he to everyone he should not work with the public. I was not only upset but embarrassed as because other customers were around.

Bad Ham

Ingles Markets - Bad Ham
Bought ham New Year's Eve. Served New Years Day. Could not chew it, tough as leather. Bagged up uneaten ham. Lost Ham. Found Ham on January ¹¹th. Rushed to ingles to exchange for new ham, to explain my situation, my grief. It fell on deaf~ears. I got the wrong Mgr. I have been shopping there since the day they opened the doors. Brownie obviously redated after expired

Today 2-10-23 bought a large cream cheese brownie from bakery dept. of ingles store #476 in cartersville, ga at 825 west ave. When I got home to put brownie into fridge I noticed the date sticker was placed over to of another date sticker which was already expired. This is just plain sick and terrible integrity.. never again will I shop, fill scripts, or get gas there after the awful attitude I got after calling store in regards to this.

Calling the store was a mistake. You got a random person who had nothing to do with the issue.

That's rude and unsophisticated.

Someone did commit an egregious act by restickering the food and some minimum wage phone flunkie is not the solution. My time is $175 / hr for advice in cases like this and you've gotten all you're going to get for free.

Ineffective service

I reside in Washington, Ga 30673. Ingles is practically the only grocery store in our county.

The only other grocery store presiding in the area is IGA which is 1/4 the size of Ingles, and originally avoided. Before Bilo's closed Ingles was second choice as best. Now it seems to be the best option yet those choosing IGA over Ingles has risen (slightly). Now people are going out of there way, which is a 40 minute to over an hours drive, because Ingle's has failed to provide a majority items in date.

My own mother was able to gather 2 carts of groceries, which she took off your shelves that were not just expired but expired from over a month to a year (some of which had spider webs inside the boxes such as cake mix). I have repeatedly requested for just the lettuce to up to date. I spoke to the manager. She said she would speak to the produce manager but that was 3 months ago.

Yet again, another disappointment. I have pictures & video footage displaying such ineffective business & inadequate management. If I wasn't restricted to such lengthy hours in the medical field during this critical time I would drive anywhere else no matter the day. I am beyond exasperated by this lack of care given to our community based off the assumption of retaining the title of "monopoly" in our area.

A title used by your own employees. I expect a reply back as soon as possible, or I will be using the footage from your store here along with this complaint and lack of adherence, on all social media.

I have been in this town for 31 years, and before INGLES became the ONLY option I was willing to keep my mouth shut but enough is enough. EITHER SHOW YOU CARE OR SHOW THAT YOU DO NOT GIVE A SINGLE THOUGHT TO ADMINISTERING THE SERVICES YOU SO FREELY ADVERTISE.

Violation of store sanitation

The area storing shopping carts is home to a large number of birds who are roosting among the carts. This is creating both carts and floor area to be covered in bird *** This includes the adjacent floor for customers to enter and exit the store carrying contaminate *** into the store. I have spoken with the manager who states he is aware of the situation and trying to find a solution. The birds have been in the carts for over 60 days. Please address this issue. I plan to give notice to Yancey Co. NC health department of Ingalls doesnt respond with expediency . Thank you. Gail Elkins

Solution ? Put them somewhere else, build a cover over the line, wash the carts, discourage the birds, clean up the area around the dumpsters.

There are even more solutions than that. What a lazy group. P.S> > it is against site policy to use your name and other personal information. These posts are usually reported to the webmaster as violations.

I went to pay for my food and the young girl behind the counter that I put the food separater was in the wrong place. So I moved it and she started smart mouthing me.

I told her she needs an attitude adjustment. Even the customer behind me commented that if she doesn't like her job she needs to leave. The worst part is the manager was standing there and did NOT say a word Absolutely inexcusable. I spoke to the manager who was a complete *** Sorry but no other way to describe it.

also everything time I'm in Ingles the managervis doing nothing. He stands at the customer service desk and ignores his customers.

I would also like to know this cashier name, she was there this morning around 8 or so, long blonde hair Thank you for your time. Thought you should know.
